Patrick Oliver Jones: Musical Theatre Actor, Singer & Why I’ll Never Make It Host

TRANSCRIPT:

Hello and welcome to episode 64 of Sing! Dance! Act! Thrive!

My guest today is an actor and singer originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Patrick Oliver Jones. He has been in the performing arts both onscreen and onstage for more than 25 years. He was in the original cast of FIRST WIVES CLUB in Chicago in addition to two national tours, THE ADDAMS FAMILY and EVITA.

On camera, Patrick has appeared and done voiceover work in several national commercials as well as co-starring roles on primetime television (BLUE BLOODS and LAW & ORDER: CI).

He is the host and executive producer of Why I’ll Never Make It, a weekly theater podcast focusing on the realities of a career in the arts. He lives in New York City with his husband who is also a performer.

There is so much good stuff in this episode so I’m going to get right to it.
